why i censor my name on here

I don't want to come up in search engines and other web searches under my government name.

While there still may be a couple sites where my name is present, especially relating to exhibitions I've been in, I've started to regress to the old web practice of not posting my full name online.

Years ago my name and face were posted on a dangerous local far-right website in an attempt to "expose" student activists. Ever since then, I've felt unsafe having a too-public presence online. So, chances are, if you're visiting this page, either:
1. You know me in real life already;
2. I've sent you this website as part of an application process, in which case you already have my full name anyway;
3. You're a Neocities user, in which case it's standard practice in the Neocities-sphere to not use our full names anyway. I don't make art or do anything for fame or clout, and I've decided that--especially during the times we live in--it's safer to not have an online presence that's too traceable.

I know it may seem counter-intuitive when I've got images of myself on here, but it's harder to search via an image than a full name. I know in the fine art world that this is an unorthodox approach, but I hope you can see my perspective here.
